Privacy Policy

Effective: June 16, 2026 Last updated: June 16, 2026

blinkq ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our desktop application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Our Core Privacy Principle

Your calls are yours. blinkq processes audio locally on your device or through secure cloud APIs only during active sessions. We do not store audio after your call ends. No meeting bots join your calls. The coach stays on your machine.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account
  • Product configuration: Information about your product, ICP, competitors, and objection library that you enter to customize your coaching playbook
  • Payment information: Processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card details
  • Communications: Emails or messages you send us

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Call metadata: Duration, timestamp, stage coverage, and session statistics (not the audio itself)
  • Usage data: Features used, hints generated, and interaction patterns within the app
  • Device information: Operating system, app version, and device identifiers for debugging and analytics
  • Crash logs: Error reports to help us improve stability (no personal data)

1.3 Audio Processing

During active coaching sessions, blinkq streams audio to Deepgram's speech-to-text API for real-time transcription. This audio is:

  • Processed in real-time and not stored after the session ends
  • Transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections
  • Not linked to your account without explicit consent

Transcripts generated during calls may be stored if you opt into post-call analysis, and you can delete them at any time.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Generate real-time coaching hints during your calls
  • Deliver post-call analysis and debriefs you request
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your personal data based on:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to fulfill our Terms of Service
  • Consent: For optional features like analytics and marketing communications
  • Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement
  • Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws

4. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account or for 30 days after deletion request
  • Call transcripts: Stored only if you enable post-call analysis; deletable at any time
  • Audio streams: Not stored — processed in real-time only
  • Usage analytics: Aggregated and anonymized after 90 days
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years per financial regulations

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object: Opt out of processing for marketing or legitimate interests

  • Incident response procedures

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying you of breaches within 72 hours.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal cookies:

  • Essential: Authentication, session management (required for the service to work)
  • Analytics: Aggregated usage statistics to improve our product (Opt-in, not by default)

We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
